Summary
The TARDIS materialises in 12th century Palestine, during the time of the Third Crusade. When the Doctor, Ian, Barbara, and Vicki emerge, they find themselves in the middle of a Saracen ambush...
The four episodes of this story were first broadcast from 27 March to 17 April. Only the audio of episodes two and four survives. For this 2005 BBC CD release, linking narration was provided by William Russell, who played Ian Chesterton. An interview with William Russell is also included.
